IE 6 was doing this to me so I upgraded to IE 7 but same problem.
I believed it was a JAVA problem so I uninstalled all java programs using Windows Install Cleanup.
I used Malawarebytes Anti-Malware and removed anything found.
I updated Windows XP with all critical and high priority updates

Now, when I try to go to Java to install, as soon as I hit download IE 7 windows all close down and I am back at my desktop.

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!
