Ok, so I had my TV setup as a second display "extended desktop" that I only used when I wanted to watch a movie on the bigger TV and lay in bed. Today I go to do so, I drag the Divx player window over onto my TV and I think I full screened it. I got no audio for a few seconds (never looked to see if the imaged fullscreened on the TV) and figured I had a missing audio codec so I went off monitor clicked in the blackness of the TV (cursor didn't show up) and pressed Esc. Nothing happened. I disabled the display in ATI's Catalyst Control Center, re-enabled it and no desktop background shows up... I can no longer get anything to display on my TV. The TV is connected my S-Video, all the cables have been checked. Can anyone help me out with this super aggravating problem. I've been at it for hours. Tried restarting as well.. to no avail.

Figures.... first thing I try after asking for help works. I disabled the display, then unplugged the S-video, clicked detect displays, reattached the cable, clicked detect displays again and all was well. Sorry for the waste of time... hope this can possible help someone with a similar problem.

Well about 35 seconds later it went black again... no idea why. Back to square 1.

My only guess is my recent update of my drivers to ATI Catalyst™ version 9.2 which also upgraded the Catalyst Control Center. HALP
