I have developed a problem with the audio in my computer. When I turn on the volume (I have had to start
turning the volume off when not in use) there is a lot of crackling and popping which gets worse when the sound
actually begins. Sometimes it is only bad enough to be annoying, an sometimes it is bad enough to make the
audio almost unintelligible. This only started about 4-6 weeks ago. I have tried cleaning the speaker and
sound card connectors thinking they might have become corroded, but it didn't seem to have any effect. Any
suggestions?
