Hi and welcome pecusbellus

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.
Apply the update, reboot, and post a fresh Hijack This log.

Okay, i downloaded the service pack but i am not able to install it. While it is inspecting my current configuration and performing inventory it has an error and it tells me that "c:\windows\system32\drivers\nic1394.sys is open or in use by another program. Close all other applications and click retry." I closed all of the programs i was running and hit retry yet the error continues to pop up. How can i solve this problem?

*Please go here (Microsoft website) using Internet Explorer ( not Firefox or any other browser as they won't work)
*Click on "Windows Validation Assistant"
*Click on the "Validate Now" button.
*Be patient while the ActiveX loads, do not click on any links.
*Read the instructions on this page while it's loading. You will be prompted to install - click YES.
*Enter your product key then click "continue"
*When it says "Validation Complete" please click "Continue to return to your previous activity"
*Copy what it says and paste it here.

"Thank you for running the Windows Validation Assistant. It appears that your Windows Product Key is valid.

This is a strong indicator that your operating system is genuine, however the Windows Validation Assistant cannot make a final determination.

The benefits of genuine Windows software include greater reliability, faster access to updates, and overall richer experiences. Users of genuine Windows are also eligible to receive special offers as part of the Windows Genuine Advantage program.

To verify that you received a genuine Certificate of Authenticity and software CD, compare your anti-piracy features in the next section.

Ok, Lets see whats running and preventing the updates,

Please run these two online scans. Make sure they are set to clean automatically:

TrendMicro's HouseCall
ActiveScan

You should try to delete any files that these scanners are unable to clean. Make sure you check the 'Disinfect automatically' option in Active scan, and check the “Auto Clean” option in TrendMicro,

Next,
Please download ewido security suite it is a trial version of the program.
  • Install ewido security suite
  • Launch ewido, there should be an icon on your desktop double-click it.
  • The program will prompt you to update click the OK button
  • The program will now go to the main screen
You will need to update ewido to the latest definition files.
  • On the left hand side of the main screen click update
  • Click on Start
The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
Once the updates are installed do the following:
  • Click on scanner
  • Make sure the following boxes are checked before scanning:
    • Binder
    • Crypter
    • Archives
  • Click on Start Scan
  • Let the program scan the machine
While the scan is in progress you will be prompted to clean files, click OK

Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save report
  • Click Save report
  • Save the report to your desktop
Reboot your machine and post back a new HJT log and the ewido .txt log file

Hi pecusbellus
  • Please set your system to show
all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

  • Close all programs leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check mark next to the following, making sure you get them all and not any others by mistake:

    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {20EC3D2D-33C1-4C9D-BC37-C2D500688DA2} - (no file)

Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

  • Reboot into Safe Mode: please see here if you are not sure how to do this.

Using Windows Explorer, locate the following files/folders, and delete them:

    C:\WINDOWS\System32\Rdyforbind.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\ajebqxcl.exe

Exit Explorer, and reboot as normal afterwards.

Now go to windows updates again please and see if you can download sp1a please,
Post back a fresh HijackThis log and we will take another look.

Alright. I Removed all of the files using hijack this and i then put my computer in safe mode. I had all files and folders shown just as the instructions u gave me said to, however i manually searched and i then used the search function, however i was not able to find: "C:\WINDOWS\System32\Rdyforbind.exe
C:\WINDOWS\ajebqxcl.exe" so i was not able to delete them. here is my fresh hijack this log. Also, i just attempted to install sp1a and i got the same error :/.

Go to Start->Run and type "Services.msc" (without quotes) then hit Ok
Scroll down and find the services called:

System Startup Service

or

SvcProc

When you find it, double-click on it. In the next window that opens, click the Stop button, then click on properties and under the General Tab, change the Startup Type to Disabled. Now hit Apply and then Ok.

Open HiJackThis, click on "None of the above, just start the program". Now, click on the "Config" button (bottom right), then click on "Misc Tools", then click on "Delete an NT Service" a window will pop up. Enter the below item into that field (make sure there are NO spaces before or after the name):

SvcProc
Click OK.

It should pull up information about the service, then ask if you want to reboot. Click YES.

Next,

Please restart HJT put a check next to the following, close all open windows and click “Fix Checked”
