Hi there,

Every time I reboot My computer I get skipping autocheck file Ħ‰ꓐƠ not found

Also it keeps adding a new file not found over and over each time I reboot with random characters similar to the ones above but different each time I end up with a big list of file not founds in the startup.

I recently uninstalled Lavasoft Ad-Aware Anniversary Edition and use Autoruns to clear the entry's it made in the Boot Execute.

I have scanned my computer with Zone Alarms internet security suite and Spyware Doctor nothing is detected with the setting on full scan.

I have been into the registry session manager, boot execute and cleared the random characters leaving only (autocheck autochk *) in there and run Autoruns and cleared the entry's also to no avail the random characters keep coming back.

My Hijackthis scan details below:

try this...
Start ... Run ... Type in msconfig ... OK ...
Boot.ini tab ... Check All Boot Paths button ...
A dialog box will open detailing the location of any invalid operating
system locations ... Confirm you want to remove the entry and reboot
no joy...
remove Windows XP HotFix KB824105 in add/remove programs in the control panel
