A files needed screen appears for graphics driver "igfxest.exe" and asks for path to driver. Unfortunately, at this point the mouse and keyboard have no response to give it a path. Any ideas? Thanks.

I am trying to install xp pro (registared copy with key) over a pc with windows 2000. The install proceeds up to the point mentioned above, where it requires a driver for the graphics card. I cannot respond to the request because the mouse and keyboard will not work at this point.

are you trying to do a clean install or Upgrade to Windows XP...
if this isn't a xp upgrade disk...do a clean install...lowdown is here...

Note Windows 2000 and Windows 2000 Professional can only be upgraded to Windows XP Professional. You cannot upgrade Windows 2000 to Windows XP Home.
