I am having trouble uninstalling sony vegas movie studio version 9.0, in that, i cannot due to a corrupted and unreadable file in it called "sfHandle"

anytime i try to uninstall it i get the error message "internal error 2318 C:\Program Files\Sony\Vegas Movie Studio 9.0\SfHandle.fnt" and when i run the chkdsk utility it says that it is in the read-only mode, and it doesn't fix any problems. can someone help me?
