Symptoms:

1. My Vista operating system has become invalidated, and I cannot access Command Prompt to try to rectify the situation, or anything other than Internet Explorer in normal boot-up. The only reason Internet Explorer is up is to validate Vista.
2. This is a secondary concern. If I restart Windows, the computer will simply boot up and shut-down with out end.

I ran HJT in Safe Mode (with Networking) as it was the only way for me to access the file (or any file for that matter.)

Please help me, this has gotten out of control. I am a student and take 3 online courses. Needless to say this computer is everything!
