Computer just started giving me these errors after it messed up while using WMP and then froze so i reboot the computer then wouldn't load everything and my network connection icon in the task bar no longer shows up either...

Apparently my disc defrag and other things aren't working either

Windows cannot find 'RECYCLERS\S-1-8-75-100014935-100029681-100019658-8479.com Make sure you typed the name correctly and try again.

I get this error when i try to open the C:\ etc in my computer

For now, download, and run Autorun Eater: http://www.softpedia...run-Eater.shtml
but.....

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal - HiJackThis™ Logs Go Here area.

Before you post a log click on this link --> You Must Read This Before Posting A Hijackthis Log
this will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your Hijackthis log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).

Look, I'm not gonna argue here.
If you think, your computer is fine, fine.
If it was me, I'd double check, so....all up to you.

I strongly suspect, your computer IS infected, then.
Try to rename malware program, you're running.
If that doesn't help, ask people at malware forum.

It depends, what happened right after format. If you connected computer to the net before you put any firewall up....it takes only minutes to compromise unprotected computer. I know, because it happened to me, and I was even behind router firewall.
