Hi there. I'm running Windows Vista ultimate, and I recently had problems with the PC, so I got it wiped and rebooted. Now when I plug my external hard drive in, it recognizes that there is a device plugged in and tried to install drives etc. Windows cannot find drivers neither can I. It displays the device as 'unknown device'. It worked perfectly fine before hand, but now it does not, since windows was re installed.
I'm not really sure what the problem is. I have looked and searched for drives but nothing. The hard drive is seagate in a Shintaro casing.

If some body knows a solution, that would be great.
thanks :)
