Hi,
Can anyone help. I have followed the instructions to repair Xp professional on my Toshiba satellite computer.
The XP CD runs through all the stages OK, but then asks for the Service Pack 2 to be installed. When the Service Pack 2
CD is put in a window appears with the heading: FILES NEEDED, FILE asms is needed, type the path where file is located
then click OK. Below this is a space with the heading: COPY FILES FROM, in this space are the words D:\1386.
I don't know how to proceed from here,I have no idea where to find the missing asms file. Down the left hand side of the screen are the completed sections so far, stating there is 39 mins to go!
Would really appreciate some help
Thanks james.w
