it's relative path...
i'm creatin this program 4 intranet...then do i have to make it absolute?...
rt now i'm usin my frnds system, v'll attach te code later on wen i get back home...

I think absolute would be safer when we get that type of errors.

i got problem with adding absolute path, i will tell u why..
i'm using a java program that is from my computer...and below is the screenshot of that output...now if it were a html page or something like that i could have done it...but it's a java program and i don't know how to do that...
one more thing i would like to know is that, is it possible to run this java file as a server end?
what i mean by that is, if i put this program at the server machine, will the client machines be able to access this file and chat among themselves?...
do you want me to send these file to you for an clear idea?

I'm afraid the java is way over my head.
But if the permissions on the server are set properly the clients should have no problem to access or run the files.
It might be a good idea to make that move first, or you will end up maybe having to re-define the paths all over once you do.
