I have the notorious Aurora Malware on my new laptop, due to trying to go to certain sites for resources without SP2 which was a major mistake. Anyway this is out of my hands now as I have filed through bunches of others' posts and tried people's methods of getting rid of this horrid trojan, nothing works, just when i think i have gotten rid of it, it pops right back up. I have also tried everything I know about getting rid of spyware and everything i have learned and collected which is of a substantial amount. I am at the point where I need an expert to examine my HiJack This log and let me know where to go from here, so here I go:

Please download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite here:
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
Install it, and update the definitions to the newest files. Do NOT run a scan yet.

Please run Notepad and copy the following text into a new file:

@ECHO OFF
cd %windir%
Nail.exe /FULLREMOVE
sc config SvcProc start= disabled
sc stop SvcProc
sc delete SvcProc
attrib -s -r -h nail.exe
attrib -s -r -h svcproc.exe
del nail.exe
del svcproc.exe
cd %windir%\system32
attrib -s -r -h DrPMon.dll
del DrPMon.dll
exit

Save the file to the desktop as remove.bat and make sure the "Save as type" field says "All files".

Boot into safemode by tapping F8 on your keyboard while you PC is starting up you will get a menu select safemode.

Once in Safe Mode, please double-click on remove.bat. A window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.

Then please run Ewido, and run a full scan. Post the log from the scan here for me.

Open Hijackthis and click scan. Then tick and fix the following in Hijackthis with all windows closed except Hijackthis.

R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://red.clientapp...//www.yahoo.com

Delete the files.

Restart your computer in normal mode and please post a new HijackThis log, as well as the log from the Ewido scan.

Ran Remove.bat, everything proceeded as planned.

Ok i ran the Ewido scan, only thing it found was the nail.exe.
I ran hijack this, found everything you listed and fixed it successfully
C:/wp.exe was NOT present, but I did get rid of wp.bmp I know what all that is
and I have had to edit the regestry in the past to get rid of the smitfraud
scam wallpaper and bring back the ability to change my background image.
So yea that was probably left over from all of that.

Ok, just FYI we are not rid of this monster, popped up as soon as I opened a browser window, post HJT,

And here is the updated HJT logfile.

1. Click here to download Pocket Killbox by Option^Explicit.

2. Go into safemode again

3. While in safemode open Hijackthis and click scan. Then tick and fix the following in Hijackthis with all windows closed except Hijackthis.

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

4. Double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. Place the following lines (complete paths) in bold in the "Full Path of File to Delete" box in Killbox, and click the red button with the white X on it after each. Keep track of any files it tells you either could not be found or could not be deleted, as you'll need those later:

C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

For the files that it either couldn't find or couldn't delete, in the killbox again this time, put a mark next to "Delete on Reboot". Copy and paste each file into the file name box, then click the red button with the X after each. It will ask you if you want to reboot each time you click it, answer NO until after you've pasted the last file name, at which time you should answer Yes.

5. Reboot back into normal mode and post a new Hijackthis log here in a reply.

1. Click here to download Pocket Killbox by Option^Explicit.

2. Go into safemode again

3. While in safemode open Hijackthis and click scan. Then tick and fix the following in Hijackthis with all windows closed except Hijackthis.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [sjdvdya] c:\windows\system32\pzczon.exe < might of changed
F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

4. Double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. Place the following lines (complete paths) in bold in the "Full Path of File to Delete" box in Killbox, and click the red button with the white X on it after each. Keep track of any files it tells you either could not be found or could not be deleted, as you'll need those later:

C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe
c:\windows\system32\pzczon.exe < might of changed from hjt log

For the files that it either couldn't find or couldn't delete, in the killbox again this time, put a mark next to "Delete on Reboot". Copy and paste each file into the file name box, then click the red button with the X after each. It will ask you if you want to reboot each time you click it, answer NO until after you've pasted the last file name, at which time you should answer Yes.

5. Reboot back into normal mode and post a new Hijackthis log here in a reply.

When Windows first started this time, I got the error: couldnt find nail.exe, which was a good sign, but it did show up in the latest HJT. I havent seen aroura yet, but its likely to popup again sometime if HJT is still seeing it.

Good news: the first time I did the HJT scan without the log to follow your instructions and get rid of nail, and it was GONE, note that I did fix it when it was on the fresh HJT from ^ and I ran another scan to include a log and it still didnt show its ugly face, so heres the log:
