Hi everyone,

I have a Compaq NC8000 where the SD card is not reading the card when inserted into the slot. I've made sure the BIOS is set up to read the SD card, I've downloaded drivers from the HP/Compaq site (even deleted existing drivers to install new ones), went to Computer Management to try and see it but nothing. Help!

Well, it looks like you tried what you had to. Did you try the SD in another computer? Did you try another SD in this computer? Possibilities... bad SD card, or bad computer. You have to try to isolate which it is. No use trying to troubleshoot unless you know which is giving you the headache.
