as soon as you power up...Press F11 repeatedly when the message "Press F11 to start recovery" is displayed.
The recovery will load and display a menu of options...
nojoy..
give us the exact make and model of your computer...

it is an emachine w3107 its running windows xp professional

watch for a screen as the computer boots up for a line indicating a key to press to "Enter recovery" or "Recover Windows" or "Repair Windows" or "Recover the system" or anything similar. When you see that screen, press that key...it could be anything...
no joy you can use their online chat to try to get the key combination to press to start the recovery here...you will need the serial number and model number..so have those handy...
