So, I have been having issues with my PC for close to a month now. The biggest problem is that I can't access www.brokenfrontier.com in any way, shape or form, other than by using a proxy site. The major issue with this is the fact that, I'm the guy that updates all the headlines and press releases there! Not only can't I go to the sites or the message boards, none of the email from my [email protected] account will come through on my outlook express (so, even if I could get to the site to update it, I'd have nothing to update it with)!.

I'm stumped.

When I try to connect through IE I get;
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

For Outlook, my other email addy comes through, but my BF one gets;
The connection to the server has failed. Account: '[email protected]', Server: 'mail.brokenfrontier.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Here's what I've tried so far.

Both shutting down and restarting the windows xp firewall
adding www.brokenfrontier.com as a trusted site
cleared all the cookies from my cache
tried to go through this addy 67.15.208.26
tried a DNS flush
tried going through a google search link
tried running CCleaner and HijackThis
ran Norton and Antivir virus checks
tried pinging the website (it timed out)
reset the TCP stack with winsockxpfix
and now ran through the Malware cleaning guide here at G to G

(at least this is what I recall)

I'm really not certain where's left to go with this, so any and all suggestions would be very much helpful

Thanks!
Fletch

If you can reach brokenfrontier.com, by using a proxy, they have blocked your IP address.
Or Even your ISP's, IP range, I've seen it happen.
People do make mistakes. Give them a call.

Thanks for the response...but sorry, to clarify - call my ISP? Or my people at BrokenFrontier?
