system crash - boots up but no screen

Advent T9201 - on boot, all seems good but no screen, reboot 2 or 3 times and then maybe ok for a while. Replaced graphics card, no good. Then no screen even after numerous reboots. OK, assume motherboard problem and replaced computer.

Now the second computer (Emachine 4260) has done exactly the same after 1 week. Too much of a coincidence. I am running Norton antivirus on both units, auto update on.

What is going on?
