I recently had a connectivity issue with my lap top that was solved eliminating the Verizon VZ Access manager and using Vista to make the connection.

When the Access Manager was running it showed both a Novatel adapter (verizon usb 720 modem) and a Realtec adapter (Toshiba modem) in the device manager under adapters.

Now using Vista the Novatel adapter does not show under adapters (although it is still being used). Of course under modems it is listed as well as the Toshiba modem.

Just curious!

Appreciate the feedback, great forum! :)
