yes i ran memtest86 and it said there were no errors

If you have more than one RAM stick, try to operate the computer with one stick a ta time, and see, if freezing still happens.
Does freezing happen ONLY, with games?

no it happens while surfing the internet and streaming video as well and it does it with one stick of ram as well

I would suggest install the mainboard chipset driver reboot PC to take effect.
Then install the latest graphic card driver then.
