Hi

STEP ONE:

You are currently using HijackThis from the desktop, this can cause problems.
HijackThis creates backups, these are needed in case of any recovery issues.
Please create a directory on your C:\ drive called C:\HJT, download and unzip HijackThis into that directory. Run the program from that directory from now on.

STEP TWO:

Please do an online virus scan with at least two of the below site:
BitDefender Free Online Virus Scan
http://www.bitdefend...can/licence.php
Make sure you tick AutoClean under Scan Options

Panda ActiveScan
http://www.pandasoft...n_principal.htm
Make sure you tick Disinfect automatically under Scan Options

Housecall at TrendMicro
http://housecall.tre.../start_corp.asp
Make sure you tick Auto Clean

eTrust Antivirus Web Scanner
http://www3.ca.com/s...sinfo/scan.aspx

STEP THREE:

Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = file://C:\WINDOWS\System32\Searchx.htm
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.startnow.com/

The below entries are optional but I recommend you include these in the fix:

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [warez] "C:\program files\warez p2p client\warez.exe" -h P2P clients are susceptible to all types of malware.
