Can't get get flash player to install into firefox

I've tried installing it multiple times, and it will install into IE7 and Opera, but not firefox, my preferred browser.
Any help?

Hello mkau...

Download this Adobe Flash Player and save it somewhere you can find it. Close all open browsers. Install the flash player you just downloaded and reboot. (You will not be asked to reboot, but it does seem to help in some cases)

Then try Firefox and see if Flash Player works as it should.
