go here...instructions are at the link...run the EXTENDED test...
GET... Diag504fCD.iso
NOTE...YOU MUST BURN THIS FILE AS A IMAGE IN ORDER FOR IT TO BOOT AND WORK
if you don't have a burning program that will burn .ISO files go here and get burncdcc ..a small FAST no frills iso burning program...

NOTE...do not put a blank cd in until burncdcc opens the tray for you
1. click on BurnCDCC.exe
2. Browse to the ISO file you want to burn on cd/dvd ....in this case its Diag504fCD.iso
3. Select the ISO file
4. click on Start..
after burning the file then boot your computer with the cd in the cd drive..

sorry to be such a pain but ive decided to take the plunge and buy a new pc with quadcore rather than to keep messing with a 3year old computer which id probly keep having constant problems with. can i just personally thank you for all the time and effort you have gone to, to try to help me with my problem and it is very much aprreciated.
