I have downloaded a movie
In the middle i cut it off, cancelling the download.
Normally the downloads that i cancel are saved in the incomplete folder.
This is an adult video and i want it off my computer. I cannon delete it
I have tried clicking delete and nothing happends, i try to go to properties and says that properties are not availiable. i used HJT and tried to delete on reboot but i could not select the file. I used killbox to try and delete on reboot and i could not select the file. instead i selected the folder and it started running and it could not delete, anyhelp from the pro's

Try MoveOnBoot

MoveOnBoot

Try TuneUp Trial

TuneUp Trial

Run File recovery and destruction then tune up shredder, though make sure you are careful as to what you put in there

Please install Killbox by Option^Explicit.
Killbox

*Extract the programme to your desktop and double-click on its folder, then double-click on Killbox.exe to start the programme.
*In the killbox programme, select the Delete on Reboot option.
*In the field labeled Full Path of File to Delete enter the file paths listed below ONE AT A TIME (EXACTLY as it appears, please double check to make sure!):

C:\myfiles\movie.avi for example

Press the button that looks like a red circle with a white X in it after each one. When it asks if you would like to delete on reboot, press the YES button, when it asks if you want to reboot now, press the NO button. Do this after each one until you have entered the LAST file path I have listed above. After that LAST file path has been entered, press the YES button at both prompts so that your computer restarts. If you receive a message and your computer does not restart automatically, please restart it manually.

Hmm i just realized this.. Since the file name is really long
When i copy and paste it in killbox where it says specify file to delete it cuts it off because it is to long

I just realized this, it might help i dunno,
Normally wheni right click a file it has options like
Winzip to e-mail
Compress
Open with
Add to
Etc..
Options that other programs give you like winzip or stuff
When i rhgt click this it does not have those options. only the basic ones like delete, rename, cut, copy
and of course none of those options work either
So this file does not have the extra options that others do
do you understand what im saying? cause im kinda confusing
Hope that helps

try this http://www.handybits.com/shredder.htm

otherwise I would recomend norton utilities/SystemWorks. it includes a file shredder that works great. THis is what I used when I ran into the same issue.

no free trial. You will have to purchase it (norton system works) or format your system and start over.
