I think (am almost certain) that i have a Windows Messenger Virus on my pc (not sure which particular virus it is) Many of my contacts have reported getting spam messages from me while i am offline, with links to dating sites, weight loss pills and all sorts. I admit that i tried downloading a few free virus removal tools from the net, but none seem to have been able to remove the virus, as my contacts are still getting spam messages from me.

Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated. I currently have Avast! Anti Virus installed on my computer, if that is of any help.

Thank you in advance.
