hi
i have numerous problems on my computer and i am not sure where it is coming from (guessing malware).
#1 - Computer Freezes whenever it wants
#2 - Start up boot is slow
#3 - Internet explorer errors (microsoft internet explorer, says error in system and asks if i want to or not to send a report to microsoft about the error, when i choose either of these options, the browser closes on its own).. i have had those msg's before on other systems.
#4 - No sound driver on my computer (Have tried installing drivers but none of them have worked)
#5 - Page cannot be displayed errors (both on firefox and internet explorer)
#6 - Automatic updates is not turned on when I have restarted my computer
#7 - At the bottom of every web page. Left hand corner. "Done, but with errors" or "Error on page"

there are a couple other little problems i noticed as well but just cant think right now.
I have tried my best fixing these errors but when one problem is fixed it seems another one comes along.

Also in my log you will see the programs i have recently installed on my system........... these programs have been installed as i read a topic posted by rorschach112 called "safe computing" and have put these programs on the system to keep my computer as safe as possible. There are also a number of audio drivers or devices i have downloaded which have failed to work. If it is possible could you let me know what programs can go and what can stay?

Before i post my HJT log, just want to let you know i am running off Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 3) and my system is an Intel Pentium 4 HT.

please help
