I have Intel Centrino 2200gb built into my Toshiba labtop. I installed Commview for wifi and now I can't connect even when Commview for wifi is not running. I feel like I'm missing something obvious. Any suggestions?

how is your internet service supplied modems routers so on.
I'm not familiar with Commonview, but I can help you troubleshoot your connections
