OK I thought the problem was just in windows but it seems to affect even bootup also. Here's the scenario. It is one of 3 problems and two which are not good.
1:) Video Driver is corrupt.. not hard to fix
2:)video card memory is corrupt..this would mean you would have to get a new video card.
3:) a virus in your system
Now first thing I would do is go to the malware forum and read the tutorial and do what it says. Then post the logs it ask for. Once a malware tech has given you a clean bill of health then return here and we can continue with the other two possibilities.
I have seen this allot in win3.11 and it was always video memory was bad. Please do the malware first just to make sure we don't put a bandade over the problem.
