HI! I am having insane problems trying to figure out why rundll32.exe is using up over 50% of my cpu, making it run at 100%! The weird thing about this is that it will run at about 50% for like 5 seconds, drop COMPLETELY OUT of my task bar for 5 seconds, then reappear in 5 seconds and go back up to 50% and repeats this cycle! IT is very annoying as I cannot even type in Microsoft word without my computer freezing every 5 seconds.... EXPERTS PLEASE HELP ME [URGENT] (I have a paper due in 3 days!!!) O.o

I use Spyware Doctor, NoAdware, and SuperAntiSpyware for malware detection programs and i have scanned with each and they all found nothing!

I will attach pictures showing my task bar when rundll32.exe is running at 50%, one where it is gone(5 seconds later), and one detailing how my cpu usage spikes up and down.

Here is a log from HijackThis:

Welcome to G2G :)

Download Combofix from this webpage: http://www.bleepingc...to-use-combofix

**Note: It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**

--------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Close any open browsers.

2. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it will produce a report for you.
  • Please post the "C:\ComboFix.txt" along with a new HijackThis log for further review.
Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall

I appreciate the quick reply, but with further testing, I have determined the problem... My wireless printer was actually making this happen, so i reinstalled all the drivers and it is now working fine and I am rid of the problem i was having! :)
