I started in control panel and i had .net framework 2.0 SP2 3.0 and 3.5 SP1. I tried to install a game it said i needed .net framework 1.1. Everything I try to download and install isnt working it gts to the very end of installing and....just stalls, sits there....any ideas? I have currently removed all .net framework programs from my computer. I have windows xp MCE SP3 and direct x 9.0c.

UPDATE: I got .net 3.5 sp1 installed succsessfully and that mean i have 2.0 3.0 and 3.5 but i need to download 1.1. While doing so everything went smoothly, but its at the very end of the installing process and its just sitting here not doing anything. I opened task manager, and it says the setup is still running. So I dont know, should i install the hotfix for 1.1 first will that work?
