Sometimes when I uninstall or install programs and I need to restart I get the startup repair screen in Vista.
It asks to start normally or repair pc.
This is driving me mad as I can't install new programs or it will do this!
Anyone know how to stop the startup repair screen happening?
Cheers

Hello danny251...

When you see that screen it generally means that Windows is having a tough time starting properly. While it may load up fine, there is something in the startup routine that's causing problems.

Have you run the Startup Repair to see if that clears the problem?

Each time I run the startup repair it fixes the problem but I want to prevent it happening.
I like Vista but this problem is making we want rid of it.
It usually happens when I uninstall or install new programs and when I run the startup repair then the new program is usually not there upon reboot.
