hey building new pc this weekend and need help. I have a 32 inch tv that im using as a monitor and wanted to know if i should go with a 1gb videocard or would a 512mb videocard get the same resolutions. What i have ben told was that more memory = better resolution. I would like to buy the videocard tonight off of newegg.com and i am looking at the gts 250. Plzzz help

512mb or 1gb should be fine as far as resolution goes. Video Card memory is mainly applied to graphics in Games, not really video. Just make sure whatever card you go with has a max resolution as high or higher than your monitors resolution.
