Recently i upgraded system processor = AMD Athlon64 X2 4800+ , Motherboard= M2A-MX and 2 GB RAM.
I already had IDE DVD ROM and one IDE 80GB Hard disk.

Motherboard= M2A-MX only supports one IDE device either hard disk or DVD ROM. is there any way i can connect both devices on one IDE port. (Can i use them as Master and slave because BIOS shows one IDE master and one Slave IDE port)

Here is my motherboard specifications

Yes
and

Yes

Your motherboard has the, sata interface, it appears Asus is starting to remove multiple IDE channels on their motherboards.
Which is understandable, as most drives today are going to Sata. Hard disc and CD/DVD.
