go to start, run and type msconfig. Then hit enter. Go to the startup tab, and un-check those you don't want to start at boot and park themselves in the system tray. Realplayer likes to do that, so does quicktime and just about every other darn program you install. If you load everything at startup, it not only puts icons in the trays, it slows the boot time and eats up system resources needlessly. :tazz:

Thanks for that, but I can't seem to uncheck any boxes there :[... (I don't have my mouse working)

What is the keyboard shortcut of unchecking them>

tab to the section, use the arror (cursor key) to select/move, then hit the SPACE bar
