After a long and fateful fight between giants and dragons.
I've finally started building my new comp.
...Strangely enough right after this one starts to give way.
Video card fried my flat screen. D=
S-Video plug in burnt out.
And keyboard randomly decides to work now.
ASUS P5QL PRO LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard
For a CPU
I want to put a Quad Core in but seeing the price's I see there about 150+
So I'm Thinking about Running just a Dual Core cause I found a $50 dollar one on New Egg.
And I can pick up a Quad when the Price's drop.
Ram My Board can support a Maximum of 16, and it takes DDR2 1066 240 Pin.
But the Video from Tiger TV said the Memory it supports up to 1066.
Does that mean I could back track in the DDR2 For like a 806 or whatever 4gig stick?
Cause I really want to MAX out my ram to 16 gigs And run a 64 bit version of Windows Seven.
The main problem I am having right now and I need someone's help.
I need a manual to hook up the power button on and off to the board.
I don't know where they plug into sense I saved money getting a open box Motherboard.
I also don't have the drivers.
I tried getting a direct download from the Company but for some unknown reason my connection keeps timing out and I just can't download them.
If someone can PLEASE HELP ME FIND THE DRIVERS AND THE MANUAL FOR MY BOARD.
I need a PDF of the board so I know how to plug things up.
I asked my comp guy for advice and he just laughed at me cause long story he really really hate's me.
If someone can help me please do...
