Hi all ,
I'm new to forum so pardon me if I posted in the wrong forum.

Firstly before the ram decrease issue , when i startup my computer , I could only hear the fan running , monitor screen was black(monitor was running well) , there was no "beep sound". I had to shutdown and restart by holding power button. Only after 4-5 restarts , the computer can start up. It was working totally fine the previous day.

Secondly, my RAM(memory) decreased by half for no reasons(I guess on the same day as startup problem). . Ran through AVG virus scans , nothing found. I ran dxdiag and to my horror , there was only 1.5gb of ram (1534) It was suppose to be 3096 or 3gb.. My processor and other things like graphic card remains unchanged. It can get really laggy even when opening up "Music Folder".

If possible I would like to avoid opening up the motherboard as I do not really know how to open it up . thanks.
