Computer freezes

Our XP computer is freezing when idle. I tried putting on a screen saver, but that doens't seem to work, staff is pushing the on/off button to refresh the monitor when sometimes works, others they reboot and start over.

What are your pc specs?


People need pc specs so they can help you better. There millions on solutions to a freezing computer.

Also include this,

How much pf usage is being used.

How much processes are being used.

What kinds of programs do you have that are being used regularly.

How much ram you have.

The xp type (pro, media, home, ect.)

Go here
Turn off indexing on particular hard disk drive
Disable the Indexing Service in Windows XP

Do both of the steps above.
