Microsoft .NET Framework virus popup unhandled exception

Need help with the popup everytime i start up my Windows XP, got some error with photo gallery earlier too.

check the attachment..

error says Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

i have .net on my m/c.

please help!!

Can you uninstall the .NET framework from your system? Does that stop the error?
If programs complain about starting after it's removed, reinstall it using a freshly downloaded copy from the Microsoft download site.
