I suggest leaving IE installed

with pre-built/formatted system's IE is built deep into windows... in most cases , it is un-removable ( if it is installed separately or in an alternative location it can be removed )

Leaving it installed will cause no harm if you only solely use firefox

I use fire fox solely but get alot of pop ups which I have blocked but there comming through any way and there all from Internet Explorer.
I just ran the Malwarebytes program and I'm hoping thats going to take care of it. If not I guess that might be covered in a different Forum.
Thanks for the info, I'm glad I just didn't try and delete it and waited for an answer, thank you for responding so quickly.
