On a machine with XP Pro, plenty of memory and no known (other) problems -

When I hit the extractor file, the files for the install of WSFTP Pro extract, then...nothing. InstallShield does not come up - until I try to reboot, then InstallShield attempts to run, until the computer shuts down for reboot. Upon reboot, I'm back where I started.

What makes InstallShield start running only when you send a command for reboot? How do I solve this?

Thanks to all.
