The Trojan has been on the computer for about a week. It blocks access to all internet sites related to removing viruses, and links to a variety of scareware pages, like exploit rogue spyware scanner and a fake version of AVG. I downloaded mbam from a flashdrive, and it restarted my computer to "finish" deleting the files. However, the computer never turned back on, simply staying at the black screen with a white underscore flashing. I have not done anything to the computer since then. What should I do?

Thank you so very much for any help you can give me.

Problem Solved! MBAM was able to remove this trojan, and after creating a new system restore point, all symptoms were gone. Thank you Tiger!!!
