Hey guys and gals

I'm in need of some help!

For the past few days i've locked myself away in a dark room trying to get a cod2 v1.3 server on the internet!

I've failed several times and i'm in need of guiedence

This is what i've done!

I started out with opening the ports that were required.
I opened cod2 1.3 and clicked start a new game
I then changed it to 'dedicated Internet' and ran the server

When i load up cod2 and look for my server its in the blimin lan section!!

As you can tell i've been drivin INSANE by this and i can't figure it out :)

SO if anyone out there can give me a hand! please do!
I'm intrested to find out what i'm doing wrnog and why it's doing it!
Thanks for reading with far anyway! :)

-Cheers! :)

1) it can take some time before the master servers replicate your server info. They don't always magically appear

2) since your server and you reside on the same network, it will find it by Lan instead of internet.

To properly test you will need to know the ip address of your modem and then someone from the outside who can connect to that ip address.

Cheers for the reply but I've still had no luck.

I've tried hosting my server whilst my router is on DMZ mode, I've tried it with the ports open. I've tried dedicated, I've tried EVERYTHING. For some reason no one is able to connect to my game. I don't really understand why.

I've had 10 people attempt to connect to my server. 10 of which failed, they cannot ping my ping it
