My computer used to run the disk i put into D:\ automatically. Now it will not. When i go into my computer and click on the D:\, i get all the files on the disk and when i click on setup(its for a game, roller coaster tycoon 3) it says the disk cannot be read or authenticated. I had this previously installed and had to unistall it.

also, when i click on the D:\ and it brings me to all the files, it says at the top in bold, "Files currently on the CD"

For motherboard,, cpu and memory download CPUz from my signature. Save it to your desktop. Run the program and it will show you all of the above in the different tabs
For the OS , service pack version, and cpu you can do the following
Click and hold the windows button on your keyboard(this is the one with the windows logo oon it) and then click the Pause Break button
that will bring up the system properties window
I need all the info except the Registration info in that window.

This is fixed with PowerToys for XP. You can download it from the link in my signature. It's a very nice nice little free tweaking program from microsoft. Click on the Tweakuixp link in my signature. Scroll down the list on the right and download. Once installed
Go to:

TweakUI->My Computer->AutoPlay->Types->Enable Autoplay for CD and DVD drives

Click apply then ok
Try and see if it works. Please post back with the results
