when i try to create a pdf.file of a word document, I keep getting the following message:

Unable to locate the following Adobe PDF Settings file or other resources:
....

Do you want to run the installer in repair mode

if I click YES, and then I try to create the pdf. file again, but he keeps giving the message, mentioned above.

I have Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional
I have windows XP and use Office XP
I have also download the update 6.0.1, but that also didn't seem to work.

What can I do about it?

You could use PDF reDirect v2 which is 2nd down with the green logo

PDF reDirect

Click help in Word then detect and repair, you need a tick in restore my shortcuts and the Office CD

Click help in Adobe then detect and repair

also with adobe 6 there are 3 updates available. you need to download each one and install it. they are not cumealitive updates.
