Hi I have a srange problem in Vista.

When I click on the start button then a folder (for example accessories) it momenterally displays the contents of that folder, then it disspears & goes back to the desktop!
Also, not sure if its related but at the top of an explrer pane it flickers every 1/2 second or so

Can anyone help please?

I have seen this issue caused by infections. Please start a thread in the malware forum and see if they can track down your problem. If the problem continues after they give you a clean bill of health then please return to this thread and let me know.

Cancel that Guy's!!

I had a USB stick plugged in, and something was making it refresh every 1/2 second, as soon as I spotted it and unplugged it, computer behaved normally!

I feel a bit embarrased
