Hi I have a srange problem in Vista. I posted on the Vista forum, but they asked me to post over here as they have seen similar behavour in malware.

When I click on the start button then a folder (for example accessories) it momenterally displays the contents of that folder, then it disspears & goes back to the desktop!
Also, not sure if its related but at the top of an explrer pane it flickers every 1/2 second or so

Can anyone help please?

Cancel that Guy's!!

I had a USB stick plugged in, and something was making it refresh every 1/2 second, as soon as I spotted it and unplugged it, computer behaved normally!

I feel a bit embarrased :)
