Is there way to have Firefox 3.1 beta have downloads download to desktop. Currently it is downloading all to Downlod List, not on the desktop

Go to
Tools>Options>Main
in there you will see the path for downloads to be saved at.

I hope this is what you need. If not I will try to assist you
