Hello guys:

Helping a friend with an infected and slow computer. I did some cleaning and followed the guidelines posted in the sticky. I used the tools - AVG and Malaware Bytes. AVG found 3 infected files = but was unable to remove them. I then ran Malaware bytes and found 28 items. I removed them - but still think, something is lurking on the computer.
One of the AVg files was C:\windows\system32\kilatape.exe
Any help would be appreciated!

Oh.. also Windows Update was turned off for some reason. I turned it on and went to the update website too and downloaded the updates. This came up while I ran AVG after I posted this
