When my computer starts, two open folders always appear on the screen - My Documents and Dell - I don't know how to stop them from doing this. Any ideas on how to remedy this situation? Thanks.

Go to
Start>Run>type in msconfig
click enter
Go to Startup tab
look in there for entries with the same name as the folders you have popup problem.
If so just uncheck them, apply,
Systemw ill probably reboot at this point
Once restarted you will get a popup that says something about msconfig startup
Look for the tab that says do not show this and click it
That will stop msconfig from popping up on bootup

Let us know how it works
