I'm running XP SP3

Now yesterday, I tried deleting this folder from my recycle bin, and it wouldn't delete. I got this message "Error Deleting File or Folder - Cannot Delete File:" There's nothing more to the message after that.

The recycle bin looks like it has a file in it, but when I open it, it looks empty. When I put a new file in the bin, it's doesn't show up in the Recycle Bin window, just a blank window. How can I fix this? the problem here is that I cannot see the file that I cannot delete. My recycle bin window just comes up blank, anything I put in the bin doesn't show either.

This shows the recycle bin saying there's something in it, but the window shows it empty

It's been happening since yesterday, and theres been no software update or anything. I seem to have fixed it, I've been roaming google since yesterday and finally found something that worked just now

Try this then: Go to Start > run: enter cmd

At the cmd prompt enter:

rd /s c:\recycler
