We upgraded our computer from Windows 2000 to XP-PRO SP3, and the HP Scanning portion of the printer stopped working. So we un-installed the software suite and tried to re-install. After a few minutes we get an error message that the files slbcsp.dll and sccbase.dll registry keys do not exist and is required for install to continue.
We contacted HP Tech support numerous times but they have not been able to help. We have tried to re-register the files using regsvr32 slbcssp.dll and regsvr32 sccbase.dll and get a FAILURE notice.
Can anyone offer any ideas were to go from here.
Thanks
Richard
